ABOUT THE SCHOOL OF DOG TRAINING & CAREER

 

Thank you for inquiring about New York City’s  Anthony Jerone’s School of Dog
Training & Career.  We are the only dog training school in New York that will provide
you with the experience and expertise to embark on your new career as a
Professional Dog Trainer.  At our  Academy, you will have the flexibility to learn this
new and exciting career on a part-time or full-time basis, as we provide daytime,
evening and weekend classes.  Class size is limited in order to provide you with
individual attention.


Master Dog Trainer, Anthony Jerone, better known as the Canine Patrol Founder of
New York City, will teach you the various dog training methods and techniques, as
well as all aspects on how to setup a successful dog training business.  Mr. Jerone
has been applauded by NY Mayors Giuliani, Koch, and Dinkins for implementing the 
Canine Patrol program for New York City.  In addition, Mr. Jerone is the rare recipient of the Bronze Star and the Silver Cross for dog handling and developing dog handling programs for the Army, while serving in Vietnam as a Canine Corp
Specialist.  Besides running a successful dog training business, Mr. Jerone has
been cited by The Daily News, Newsday, the New York Post and numerous local
newspapers, as well as National and International TV and radio stations for
graciously offering his 40+ years of experience and expertise as a community
service.


Our  Academy will provide you with step-by-step instructions from the very basics to 
the most advanced methods and techniques of all aspects of dog training and
handling.  Upon successful completion of our course, you will be recognized and
certified is the only Dog Training School licensed by the State of New York
Education Department Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision to
train people to become DOG TRAINERS.

 

We have classes scheduled four times a year (usually in January, April, July and
